Michael Mawdsley
| Michael Mawdsley was born and raised on a grain and livestock farm which has been in the family since 1882, near Burt, Iowa. He graduated from Burt High School in 1973, and attended Iowa State University for 2 years. After working on a turkey farm near Ellsworth, Iowa, he moved home to farm with his Dad and Uncle in 1977. Mike's farm background involved raising corn, soybeans, oats and alfalfa as well as hogs, cattle, sheep and milking cows. Michael began operating the Algona office of Farmers Options and Hedging Services (currently known as Market 1 Inc.)in November 1989. With the successful start of the business, he discontinued farming in 1991. Mike began to commute to the home office in May of 2002 to be the Vice President of Marketing. His market quotes and comments can be heard 3 times a day on the Kinship Christain radio network covering Northern Iowa and Southern Minnesota. He also enjoys conducting technical charting classes and compiling his daily commentary on the market action in "Mike's Minute". Mike is an elder and worship leader at the Algona Evangelical Free Church. He and his wife Cindy, live in Algona, Iowa and have 2 grown children Melinda and Scott. Mike loves to fish and garden with his bride of almost 33 years. |

David Miller is the Senior Livestock Analyst for Market 1 Inc., with a special emphasis in the pork complex. David focuses on hedging strategies in the pork complex for the 8-step marketing program and is the featured author of many hog commentaries published by Market 1 Inc. David began working with Farmers Options (currently known as Market 1 Inc.) in 1992. Previously, David worked for Ramco Agrisystems in Fonda, Iowa in ag sales and in New York as a agent of the Internal Revenue Service. David is a graduate of Storm Lake high school and owns and operates D & D Financial Services in Fonda. David and his wife, Deb, reside in Fonda with their 4 children.

C. A. (Curt) Rininger was born in Schaller, Iowa and graduated from Schaller Community School in 1969. Upon graduating from Wayne State College, Wayne, Nebraska in 1972, with a B.S. in Biology, Curt attended Research Hospital and Medical Center’s School of Medical Technology in Kansas City, Missouri, graduating in 1973. After working at the Kansas City V.A., Hospital for 18 months, Curt returned to the family farm in Schaller where he farmed 800 acres for 27 years, giving it up in 2002 to concentrate full time on the commodity business. Curt also owns C-P-L-S Sportscards, an Internet business dealing in sports memorabilia along with individual cards, packs and unopened boxes. Curt received a B.A. Degree in Management/Entrepreneurship from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa in 1997. Curt works in the home office in Newell specializing in Comprehensive Marketing Plans. Terri Owns Midnight Sun, a Tanning, Cappuccion, Scrapbbooking, gifts etc. business in downtown Schaller, Ia. Curt and Terri have three children, Cody, 26 and his wife Alison who are both Elememtary Teachers in the Sioux City School System. Cody teaches 5th Grade at Washington Elementary and Alison 3rd grade at Sunnyside Elementary. They have 22 month old twins, Cole Boston and Avery Alise. Tanner and Whitney are 19. Tanner lives in Easter Iowa and Whitney is a Freshman in college studying Criminal Justice. They all enjoy cheering on the Hawkeyes, Yankees and Packers and Morningside Mustangs!

Heather Coffelt
| Heather Coffelt is General Manager/Market Analyst for Market 1 Inc. Heather joined the company in June 2008. She was born and raised on her family’s farm in Stewart, MN. She graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN with an Accounting Degree. Prior to joining Market 1 Inc., Heather held various positions at Cargill, Inc. She started her career as a Rail Accounting Supervisor at Cargill’s World Headquarters in Wayzata, MN. She worked closely with the asset merchants and her main duties were supervising the rail accounting clerks and reconciling P/Ls for the grain merchants. Her next role in Cargill was a Senior Farm Marketer, originating grain for the Cargill AgHorizon’s river terminal in Savage, MN. When the ethanol boom was taking center stage, Heather began working as an Ethanol Business Analyst for Cargill AgHorizons. She helped manage the grain origination agreements between Cargill and the ethanol companies. Her latest Cargill position was a merchant in the Cargill AgHorizon’s Council Bluffs office. Heather and her husband, Zach, reside in Council Bluffs, IA – where Zach is a merchandising manager for The Scoular Company. |

Brian Sieren is a Market Analyst for Market 1 Inc. He was born and raised on a family farm in SE Iowa near Hedrick. He graduated from Iowa State University in 2002 with a degree in Production/Operations Management. Prior to joining Market 1 Inc., Brian was a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones, where he was helping individuals and businesses manage their retirement and investment portfolios. Prior to Edward Jones, Brian was a Senior Farm Marketer for Cargill AgHorizons. His duties there were to help farmers develop, manage, and implement marketing plans and risk management strategies. Brian also enjoys playing a lot of basketball, hunting and also farms with a good friend of his in the Oakland, IA area. Brian and his wife (Mindi) and son (Brenden) enjoy spending time with family and friends. They are residing in Harlan, IA where they have lived since 2004.
